Earth Day Report Card—Runde’s Room—Ontario Canada
Love this self-evaluation idea.  Just how green is your school?  Your classroom?  Your home?

Add these attractive activity cards to your Earth Day teaching resources.  Art work and presentation appropriate for 3rd-5th graders.  The activities themselves will appeal to older students as well.

Ms. Mathis has put together one of those fun “personality tests” that adults love to find in magazines for students!  As she writes in her instructions, you will need to stress that this is strictly for fun and not based in any psychological fact!  Give you students a mental break from EOG tests with this different type of quiz.

Free 8 Reading Strategy Posters—Rachel Lynette—Washington
Use these eye-catching posters in your classroom to remind your students to use these tried-and true strategies for improving reading skills.

Customary Capacity Visual—Janell Beilman—Kansas
Math teachers, take a look!  This clever handout helps students visualize the measurement ratios of cups, pints, quarts, and gallons.  The concept also has all the making of a terrific bulletin board, especially if the letters representing the measures were changed to drawings.
